With the new Legal Load machines from SCARAB designed to be completely legal for transportation purposes, no permits are needed to move this new line of SCARAB's from site to site. With the new legal load machines, you can pull up to the site and be turning windrows in less than five minutes. When finished turning the windrows, load back on to the trailer and be ready to proceed to the next location in less than five minutes. This is all made possible with the uniquely designed machine now available from the leader in windrow composting machines.

In normal operating mode, the tracks or tires are folded out to provide a sure footing during processing. When loaded on the trailer, the tracks or tires are designed to fold in such a manner as to reduce the machine width to 8' 6", the legal width for transportation without permits.

Three different configurations are available in the Legal Load design. The 4-Track design is for the very poor site conditions. The 4WD is for when the site conditions are fair, but a little extra power and traction is desired. The machine is also available in our standard 2WD configuration for facilities with better operating conditions.

With a trailer designed specifically for each machine, the machine is easily loaded. With an automatic leveling device, the main portion of the frame stays level as SCARAB's patented suspension system floats to allow a smooth loading and unloading process.

This design would be well suited for commercial composting or bioremediation companies that contract to various operations for handling the processing needs. With the speed and ease of loading and unloading, a number of sites can easily be handled by a single machine.
